We got trouble...right here in River City"

The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he vows to organize - this, despite the fact that he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall. By turns wicked, funny, warm, romantic and touching, The Music Man is family entertainment at its best. Directed by Ron Knoll, with Choreography by Brenda Bennett, and under the Musical Direction of Ali Peters, we are very excited to once again present this musical theatre classic for Saskatoon audiences, complete with a children’s ensemble.

The Music Man will feature an entirely local cast and orchestra. The full cast will be posted on our website when the information comes available. http://www.saskatoonsummerplayers.ca/
